Job Opportunity: Cybersecurity Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our cybersecurity framework. As a member of our Threat & Vulnerability Management team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to strengthen our cloud and data center infrastructure security. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our compliance posture and ensuring the reliability of our systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Detect and analyze vulnerabilities across our environment.
  • Evaluate the risk of detected vulnerabilities and assess their impact.
  • Provide technical support to stakeholders on vulnerability management and remediation.
  • Coordinate with teams to track issues until resolution.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for new projects related to vulnerability management lifecycle.
  • Manage and maintain tools used for vulnerability management.
  • Stay updated with the latest security developments and technologies.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role or as a vulnerability management specialist.
  • Familiarity with Qualys or other security vulnerability detection technologies.
  • Strong understanding of multiple IT, Security, and Software disciplines.
  • Ability to understand application and Operating System vulnerabilities.
  • Multitasking skills to manage large amounts of information across disparate systems.
  • Able to define future strategy and policy regarding enterprise security.
  • 'Continuous monitoring' and 'continuous improvement' thought process adherence.
  • Techincal IT skills to understand and manage different OS flavors, network technologies, and topologies.
  • Technical security expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Interfacing with internal or external organizations to enhance security posture.
  • Able to effectively communicate solutions in business terms.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Possible knowledge of Python scripting or other languages.
  • Moderate documentation and analytical skills; documenting processes, policies, and standards.
  • Ability to provide end-to-end support to enterprise counterparts.
  • Troubleshooting skills across complex enterprise applications, servers, and endpoint environments.
  • Ability to learn onboard and adapt to new technologies.
  • Basic privileged access management/right management experience.
  • Knowledge of malware operation, indicators, or threat.
  • Moderate knowledge of current threat landscape.
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
