The Role:

You'll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients to exceed expectations in:

  • Supervising tax advisory engagements
  • Managing delivery of tax opinions / short notes / email responses on day-to-day clients' tax matters
  • Responsibility for tax compliances such as filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, provisioning for income tax and other tax filings
  • Supervising tax assessment / litigation proceedings before assessing officers, income tax authorities and higher appellate forums. This will include reviewing responses to audit notices & questionnaires, representation before the tax authorities for assessment, rectification, and other matters.
  • Training managers and executives for professional development and creating stronger benches
  • Delivering tax technology assets through licensing and internal managed services
  • SPOC responsibilities for end-to-end tax operate engagements
  • Internal client codes management from the standpoint of time logging, invoicing, and collections.
  • Business development including identifying new opportunities actively and mining existing ones
  • Contributing to firm eminence programs, events, written or speaking contributions at conferences etc.
  • Thought leadership and other tax technical papers for firm wide Go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborating with other tax services lines/business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements.
Key Requirements:
  • CA - 8-10 years' Experience in Direct Taxation
