Job TitleLead for SAP Finance and Controlling

The CONMED IT SAP Global Center of Excellence (IT SAP COE) is seeking a seasoned expert to spearhead the organization's SAP IT landscape in alignment with business requirements. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for setting and managing the SAP FI/CO module, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security.

This role involves driving SAP solution architecture and business design within the COE. You will strengthen the COE team and ensure the successful implementation of SAP solutions across the organization. Key responsibilities include developing and enhancing SAP solutions for finance department processes, defining and designing SAP process, and providing architecture and design guidance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance SAP solutions for finance department processes
  • Define and design SAP process to ensure best practice design and implementation
  • Provide architecture and design guidance to development and functional teams
  • Monitor the progress of Fi/CO Module and Team Monitoring
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and establish governance frameworks
  • Maintain advanced level technical certification and stay updated on new technologies
  • Continuous monitoring and improvement of systems and processes
  • Team building and mentorship

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA Finance)
  • Certification in SAP: Preferred (FI/CO Module)
  • 10+ years of overall SAP experience with strong functional knowledge of Sales, Manufacturing or other Enterprise processes using SAP with specialization in Finance and Controlling Module
  • Minimum of 7 years prior experience in managing large-scale SAP-related programs as a Module Lead
  • SAP S4/Hana – At least 2-3 Implementation Projects (Green Field or Migration)
  • Strong knowledge of Parallel Accounting, Transfer Pricing and Material Ledger functionality in SAP
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or life science industry preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
