Job Description
The Senior Test Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications and platforms.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address defects, improve testing processes, and develop new test strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnership with teams to understand how technology stacks impact business outcomes.
- Anticipating and recognizing bottlenecks in work processes between teams.
- Defining measures of success for process improvements.
- Testing and maintaining software applications and related programs and procedures.
- Researching and recommending frameworks and architectural/code design patterns.
- Achieving operational excellence through unit testing, establishing SLAs, and programming for resiliency and scalability.
- Contribution to product development by listening to customer needs, capturing feedback, and communicating it to the business.
- Mentoring Individual Contributors and Managers based on own experience.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Java, Python, and C++.
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and tools, such as JUnit, TestNG, and Selenium.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
