Cloud Data Architect Role

As a Cloud Data Information Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud data pipelines using AWS Databricks. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to capture data definitions, drive data source lineage reports, and recommend data extraction and replication patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define foundational business data domains and elements.
  • Collaborate with data product stewards to capture data definitions.
  • Drive data source lineage reports and recommend data extraction and replication patterns.
  • Experience in data migration from big data to AWS Cloud on S3, Snowflake, and Redshift is essential.

Requirements:

  • 12-16 years of experience in projects involving AWS Databricks and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS Native data architecture and services like S3, lambda, Glue, EMR, and Databricks Spark.
  • Excellent collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Databricks, especially S3, Snowflake, and Python.
  • Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant experience with ETL methods and retrieving data from dimensional data models and data warehouses.
  • Strong experience with relational databases and data access methods, especially SQL.
