Job Title: Controls Engineer

At ADSIPL - Maharashtra, we're seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team in Data Centres. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the building automation systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for building automation, including electrical diagrams, control diagrams, and building operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop scope and specifications.
  • Manage scope of work relative to site specifics and customer needs, ensuring timely completion of projects within budget.
  • Develop control panel BOMs, ISA sheets, and drawings for control panels, power distribution, and junction boxes.
  • Prepare cable routing plans and schedules, and perform inspections, testing, and commissioning of facility systems.
  • Work individually and as part of a team to develop new products, support existing products, test, and evaluate equipment.
  • Provide technical assistance to internal customers and coordinate work internally and externally to ensure on-time completion of projects.
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, HVAC, or other related engineering degree, or 5+ years of related experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements.
  • 3+ years of experience with installation, configuration, or servicing of building controls systems from leading manufacturers.
  • Windows Power User skill set, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.
  • Business proficient in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams in construction or development environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and navigate difficult situations.
