Senior Statistical Programming Lead

This leadership role involves overseeing the development of custom programming code and directing a team of statistical programmers.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality SAS and other software code to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve discrepancies, ensuring outputs meet quality standards.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing project needs.
  • Directly supervise and mentor junior statistical programmers, fostering their growth and expertise.
  • Review and provide feedback on project documentation to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Participate in sponsor meetings, kickoff meetings, and bid defense meetings as the statistical programming representative.
  • Contribute technical expertise to the development of programming tools and macros for standardization and efficiency.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for CDISC and industry regulatory requirements, providing guidance and performing compliance reviews.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in programming, preferably in clinical trials and SAS or other required software.
  • Strong understanding of CDISC Standards and applicable SOPs, WIs, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to negotiate timelines and manage concurrent deliverables.
  • Experience in mentoring others in clinical trial processes and CDISC Standards is highly desirable.
  • Ability to maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation.
