Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Global Trade Specialist. This individual will be responsible for performing Customs Trade HTS & ECCN Classification determinations for spare parts and other products.

The successful candidate will work closely with our trade management team to identify and resolve international trade issues, utilizing expertise in advanced technology and processes involved in semiconductor, flat panel, and solar cell manufacturing.

This role requires knowledge of import and/or export trade compliance elements, including Harmonized Tariff Schedules, Export Classification Commodity Numbers, Customs entry process, Customs invoicing requirements, and special trade program requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct classification analysis to arrive at an accurate HTS and ECCN Classification using various trade tools such as GRIs, CROSS rulings, WCO explanatory notes, and Export Regulations & other Classification Tools.
  • Support Customs inquiries related to classifications of products and participate in other projects as assigned by trade management.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate expertise in advanced technology and processes involved in semiconductor, flat panel, and solar cell manufacturing.
  • Show knowledge of import and/or export trade compliance elements, including Harmonized Tariff Schedules, Export Classification Commodity Numbers, Customs entry process, Customs invoicing requirements, and special trade program requirements.
  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
