Basic Software Specialist

This position is focused on driving the development and implementation of advanced Basic Software solutions.

  • Analyze customer specifications to derive accurate requirements for Basic Software.
  • Develop, configure, and test Basic Software in accordance with established standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with external customers and internal teams to clarify requirements and resolve complex integration issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software components into automotive ECUs.
  • Identify and troubleshoot complex system failures, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to development lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Automotive, Computer Science or Controls Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with expertise in software development and integration.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in configuring, integrating, and testing AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules across various automotive platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in developing Complex Device Drivers (CDD) and performing MCAL configuration for leading microcontrollers.
  • Expertise in integration and testing of AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) with application layer components.
  • Familiarity with e-mobility systems such as Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Inverters is an asset.
  • Experience in safety-critical software development aligned with ISO 26262 functional safety standards is highly valued.
