Data Engineer Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced data engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, architecture, and integration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data systems, as well as ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our data infrastructure.

We are looking for someone with exceptional problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes, and experience working with cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Data Factory, or similar tools.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code in languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Scala.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  • Analyze and optimize system performance to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Atlassian tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • GxP and Non GxP SDLC experience.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence tools, including Power BI and Qlik.
  • Cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, such as blockchain and artificial intelligence.
