We are seeking an experienced data engineer to join our team as a lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, architectures, and datasets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Wrangling Skills
  • Strong skill in data mining and wrangling techniques for creating required analytical datasets
  • Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, and datasets
  • Adaptive mindset to improvise on data challenges and employ techniques to drive desired outcomes
  • Programming Skills
  • Experience with big data tools: Spark, Delta, CDC, NiFi, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience with relational SQL, NoSQL databases, and query languages, including Oracle, Hive, SparkQL
  • Experience with object-oriented languages: Scala, Java, C++ etc.
  • Visualization Skills
  • Knowledge of visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau
  • Good storytelling skills to present data in simple and meaningful manner

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in data engineering and related fields
  • Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and data visualization
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
