About Mitigating Cyber Threats
We help businesses protect themselves against cyber risks through risk assessments, compliance consulting, cyber insurance, and security solutions. Our team strengthens security posture, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides tailored cyber insurance policies to minimize financial exposure from cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing threat detection and response policies using Sophos and other EDR/XDR platforms.
- Strong knowledge of incident investigation, remediation, and tuning alerts.
Cybersecurity Solutions (EDR/XDR):
- Designing and implementing effective threat detection and response policies.
- Familiarity with MDM/UEM solutions such as Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, MobileIron, or similar for implementation, policy configuration, and administration.
Device Management & ITSM Tool Management:
- Knowledge of MDM/UEM solutions for managing endpoints across different environments (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Jira Service Management) for managing incidents, requests, changes, and problem workflows.
Compliance & Policy Implementation:
- Understanding of ISO 27001 standards for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Experience working with audits, gap assessments, and remediation activities.
Cyber Security Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3–6 years of relevant industry experience.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management, patch management, and security hardening.
- Knowledge of network security, access control, and identity management.
- Exposure to working in SOC environments or coordinating with SOC teams is a plus.
