We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Developer to join our development team at Encora Inc. As a Senior UI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using Angular, AWS Amplify, and other modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and user-friendly web applications.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of frontend components using Angular, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and optimal user experience.
  • Implement frontend interfaces that interact seamlessly with RESTful APIs and integrate with backend services.
  • Utilize AWS Amplify to develop, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications, leveraging various AWS services as needed.
  • Develop and maintain efficient Git workflows, including forking, branching, merging, and code reviews, to ensure codebase stability and version control.
  • Integrate Firebase services for real-time data synchronization, authentication, and other relevant features to enhance application functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into fully functional web interfaces while adhering to best practices and design guidelines.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing to ensure code quality, reliability, and stability.
  • Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback and improve overall codebase quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve development processes and workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development using Angular, with a strong understanding of reactive programming, components, services, and state management.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and experience with AWS Amplify for building and deploying cloud-based applications.
  • Solid understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and code versioning.
  • Experience integrating and working with RESTful APIs and a deep understanding of frontend-backend communication.
  • Familiarity with Firebase services, including authentication, remote configurations, and cloud storage.
  • Strong command of Typescript, HTML, and CSS to create responsive and visually appealing user experiences.
  • Proven experience with unit testing frameworks and a commitment to writing high-quality, testable code.
  • Proficiency in using Github for code versioning, collaboration, and code reviews.
  • Deep expertise in web front-end architecture & development, with hands-on experience building large-scale, highly available, low-latency applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward identifying and addressing technical issues.
  • Values architecture and technical design conversations.
  • Technologically curious about using the best and right technologies for each project.
  • Analytical thinking skills with the ability to identify, debug, and resolve technical issues.
  • Product-minded with an interest in understanding the end-user experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and sharing best practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
  • Knowledge of backend technologies and concepts to facilitate effective collaboration with backend teams.
