Shopify App Developer

We are seeking an experienced Shopify app developer to join our team at Soticbyte Inc.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom Shopify apps with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Implement front-end interfaces using React, Remix, Polaris, and TailwindCSS for a seamless user experience.
  • Integrate with Shopify Admin APIs, GraphQL APIs, and Webhooks for efficient data exchange and app functionality.
  • Build reusable components and shared utilities for internal and external apps.
  • Optimize code for speed, responsiveness, and edge performance to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to plan and deliver features that meet business objectives.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliable and production-grade code.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with React, including functional components, hooks, and state management.
  • Proficiency in building nested routes, loaders, actions, and server rendering using Remix or React Router.
  • Deep understanding of Shopify Admin API, including REST and GraphQL endpoints, app authentication (OAuth), and webhook handling.
  • Polaris UI expertise for building pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible interfaces.
  • Advanced knowledge of utility-first styling and responsive design using TailwindCSS.
  • Comfort with Node.js / TypeScript for backend logic, API routes, and type-safe coding.
  • Experience with App Bridge, JWT-based auth flows, and session management for Shopify apps is a plus.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Hydrogen or custom storefronts.
  • Working knowledge of Drizzle ORM, Prisma, or Postgres for data persistence.
  • CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, Docker, etc.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for low-latency apps.
