Machine Vision Engineer

We're seeking a skilled engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge sensor systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sensors, automation, or machine vision, with experience in prototyping and designing practical mechanical setups.

In this role, you'll work closely with our team to develop and deploy innovative solutions that drive business growth.

  • Design and develop sensor systems using laser line profilers, displacement sensors, ultrasonic probes, and cameras
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to select and integrate components
  • Create mounts and enclosures that withstand extreme environments
  • Develop scripts for data acquisition and analysis using Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics and PLC connections
  • Pilot deployments across customer sites

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision
  • Knowledge of laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems
  • Ability to design practical mechanical setups (mounts, fixtures, enclosures)
  • Proficiency in Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics and PLC connections
  • Flexibility to travel for deployments
  • Availability ~20 hrs/week with flexible schedule
