Job Title: Enterprise Network Architect
Job Description:
We seek a seasoned Enterprise Network Architect to drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performing network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will develop and deploy robust network architectures that meet current and future business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Architecture: Develop comprehensive network designs, specifications, and documentation for network components, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Network Implementation and Deployment: Configure and deploy network devices, including routers, switches, load balancers, and VPN concentrators. Implement security measures, such as access control, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Network Optimization and Performance Tuning: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize network configurations to enhance efficiency and throughput. Conduct regular network performance assessments and capacity planning exercises.
- Network Troubleshooting and Support: Provide escalated support for complex network issues and outages, including root cause analysis and resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network-related problems impacting business operations.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices to protect network assets from unauthorized access and cyber threats. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and standards. Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Professional certifications like CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable. A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing large-scale enterprise networks is required.
