Golf Content Editor Job Overview

We are hiring golf content editors to add to our energetic and passionate editorial team. This role involves collaborating with writers, ensuring fact veracity, eliminating incorrect claims, and publishing priority news-based articles in a timely fashion.

To succeed in this position, you should have a good grasp of English fundamentals and American culture, be quick with fact-checking, and enhance editorial quality. Additionally, you'll need leadership qualities, people management skills, and basic SEO knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and publish 20-25 articles daily.
  • Proofread articles for grammatical or otherwise errors, and check plagiarism before publication.
  • Research to ensure fact veracity and eliminate incorrect claims.
  • Publish priority news-based articles in a timely fashion.
  • Mentor and guide writers to refine their quality, output, and performance.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of writers in the Golf division.
  • Undertake other key duties as instructed by the Editorial Team Lead.

  • You have a keen eye for enticing titles and subheadings.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing.
  • Prior experience of leading a team of writers would be an additional plus.
