System Integration Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Integration Project Manager to oversee middleware-based API and system integrations for our WealthTech platform.

This critical leadership role ensures seamless integration of the core wealth management platform with external systems and services. As Platform Manager – WealthTech, you'll be responsible for ensuring integration readiness, security, and performance.

You'll bridge product, engineering, vendors, and business stakeholders, driving successful integration delivery with APIs, message queues, and file-based systems.

  • Lead integration projects across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and secure rollouts.
  • Define project scope, milestones, and success metrics for middleware/API integrations.
  • Coordinate middleware service requirements between developers and business teams.
  • Track and manage integration workstreams: real-time APIs, batch jobs, Kafka/RabbitMQ, SFTP.
  • Validate data contracts, mapping, and transformation rules.
  • Ensure compliance with API security, data privacy, and operational risk standards.
  • Document integration touchpoints, workflows, and SLAs.
  • Provide visibility on risks, blockers, and delivery status to senior stakeholders.

We require:

  • 8–10 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in project/program management of API & middleware integrations.
  • Mandatory: Experience in the wealth management / WealthTech / BFSI investment domain.
  • Strong understanding of system integration techniques (APIs, message queues, SFTP).
  • Familiarity with API management tools (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
  • Exposure to Node.js-based architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of financial data formats (FIX, OFX, JSON, XML).
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and delivery skills.
