Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, automate and execute unit and functional tests to ensure quality and reliability of software products using C# and Python.
  • Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring robust and scalable backend services.
  • Build, optimize and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs using industry-standard tools and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA and product teams to identify test requirements and implement effective test strategies.
  • Write clean, maintainable and efficient code for test automation and API integration scripts.
  • Participate in code reviews, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes to enhance development and testing workflows.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues and provide timely feedback to improve product quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and testing trends, advocating for best practices within the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Deep expertise in C#, including software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proven experience developing, automating and executing unit and functional tests.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and integration purposes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, xUnit or similar for C#; Pytest or others for Python.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), test lifecycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g. AWS, Docker).
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
  • Familiarity with database technologies and writing SQL queries.
