Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Preparer to join our growing team. As a key member, you will utilize your expertise to meticulously prepare U.S. individual and business tax returns.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an Enrolled Agent to contribute to a respected and growing tax practice, while enjoying remote work and ongoing professional development. You will work closely with owners, who engage directly with clients, to ensure timely and precise completion of returns.

Responsibilities:

  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and review client tax returns utilizing in-depth knowledge of tax forms and their implications.
  • Tax Preparation Process Management: Manage the entire tax preparation process, from document collection to client signatures, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze year-over-year data to identify missing information or documents, ensuring comprehensive and accurate returns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • IRS Status: IRS Enrolled Agent status or pursuing it.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience preparing U.S. individual tax returns.
  • Proficiency: Proficiency in navigating tax software and confidently handling tax-related documents.
