Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled procurement professional to join our team as a Procurement Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboard reliable suppliers for materials, components, and services required in the electric vehicle industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, monitor vendor performance, and conduct regular audits of vendor facilities.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with production, R&D, and service teams to forecast material requirements, maintain optimum stock levels, and coordinate logistics for timely deliveries.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, prepare purchase orders, contracts, and maintain accurate procurement records.
  • Cost & Quality Optimization: Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities, work with Quality Assurance to ensure procured items meet specifications, and contribute to localization of components to reduce costs and import dependency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or MBA.
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in automobile or electric vehicle industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of EV components (battery, motor, controller, charger, etc.) is preferred.
  • Advance proficiency in MS-Excel.
  • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
