Responsibilities
  • Develop advanced search functionality using modern search technologies such as Elasticsearch or similar platforms.
  • Design and implement high-quality, scalable search applications focusing on relevancy, performance, and user experience.
  • Create and optimize search algorithms, ranking models, and retrieval methods.
  • Develop efficient indexing strategies and data preparation pipelines.
  • Implement machine learning models for search ranking and relevance scoring.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • 3+ years of experience developing search solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Hands-on experience with search engines like Elasticsearch or Solr.
  • Strong understanding of information retrieval concepts including TF-IDF, BM25, and vector search.
