  • Participate in daily operations to support the business
  • Optimize database (SQL calls) for maximum performance
  • Collaborate with management on performance goals and long-term operational plans
  • Recommend solutions for operational process improvement
  • Experience with SQL and stored routines
  • HA Proxy, ProxySQL or MaxScale experience is beneficial
  • AWS database technologies like Aurora, RDS expertise is required
  • Monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes
  • Maintain relationships with technology team members and external partners
  • Perform technical troubleshooting to diagnose and correct data and database issues
Required QualificationsWe Need Someone with:
  • 4 years of MySQL management experience
  • Experience in MySQL configuring HA and clustering solutions
  • Large scale MySQL deployments
  • MySQL sharding architecture and techniques
  • Ability to work with Linux/Unix based OS Environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
