We are seeking a highly skilled Cognos Developer to join our organization in Bengaluru, India.

This role involves developing and implementing technical solutions to convert customer business needs into effective products. The successful candidate will design solutions by analyzing requirements and providing estimates, handling configurations and workflows, and overseeing integration across various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing complex technical solutions for Governance Risk and Compliance space
  • Developing and implementing strategies to convert customer business needs into effective technical solutions
  • Handling IBM OpenPages configurations workflows calculations and offering support during development deployment and post go-live phases
  • Overseeing IBM OpenPages integration across various bank systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology Information Systems Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred
  • Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience in IBM Open Pages 8.3.x and later including designing and developing complex flows for Governance Risk and Compliance space
  • Strong experience with TFUI workflows configuration views calculations security triggers helpers APIs AFCON object models integration etc.
  • Proven experience in designing and architecting solutions on IBM OpenPages and Cognos Framework
  • Extensive experience in the GRC Governance Risk & Compliance domain
  • Skilled in creating solution designs estimates and customer demos
  • Well-versed in deployment cycles and DevOps related to IBM OpenPages
  • Proficient in Java to support IBM OpenPages APIs
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and processes
  • Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction at all levels
  • Knowledgeable in CI CD principles
  • Knowledgeable in DevOps workflow tooling including Azure DevOps Services

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Experience with the full lifecycle of IBM OpenPages version upgrades and migrations
  • Exposure to batch scripting and Windows environments
  • Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite Jira Confluence etc.
  • IBM OpenPages developer certification
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Creative approach to problem-solving innovation and issue resolution in deployment cycles and DevOps related to IBM OpenPages
  • Proficient in Java to support IBM OpenPages APIs
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and processes
  • Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
