Information Security Engineer

- Design, implement, and manage security controls to prevent and detect cyber threats.
- Monitor and analyze security event data from SIEM platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to staff on security-related matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a SOC or cybersecurity role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security principles.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).
- Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Japanese language (Ideally N1 or N2 Level).
