We seek a Scientist - Bioinformatics Data Curation to conduct searches in public databases, distinguish different functional genomics technologies, and biological experimental methodologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong focus on modern single-cell gene expression technologies, coding skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and consistency in delivering reliable results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting searches in public genomic databases
  • Distinguishing different functional genomics technologies and biological experimental methodologies
  • Understanding necessary dataset qualifications
  • Entering matching datasets into the database accurately
  • Validating/cross-checking new datasets to avoid duplicates or problems
  • Optimizing database structure for smooth information flow
