Job Title:

Front Office Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Front Office Executive to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their stay is exceptional.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist staff with expediting problem payments and resolving guest issues in a timely manner.
  • Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys.
  • Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in, including sharing withs, separate room tax, incidentals, and comp.
  • Anticipate sold-out situations and obtain satisfactory alternative accommodations when the property cannot accommodate guests with reservations.
  • Block rooms in the computer and identify designated requirements and requests.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
  • Review shift logs daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks.
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift and balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.

You will also be responsible for assisting management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees, as well as serving as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment Open Door Policy process.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a front office or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and software systems.
