Senior Java Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong background in Core Java, Spring Boot-based microservices, and front-end development using ReactJS.

About the Role

This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale Java-based applications and microservices using Spring Boot. Additionally, it requires building and integrating front-end components using ReactJS for seamless user experiences. Asynchronous messaging solutions using Apache Kafka need to be implemented and managed effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop large-scale Java applications and microservices utilizing Spring Boot.
  • Build and integrate front-end components with ReactJS to deliver intuitive user interfaces.
  • Implement and manage asynchronous messaging systems using Apache Kafka.
  • Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for data access and integration.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Apply best practices in CI/CD for continuous integration, testing, and deployment pipelines.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability by following clean coding principles, design patterns, and unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).
  • Work on cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure scalability, reliability, and high availability.
  • Perform database management, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling across relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and contribute to technical discussions.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement effective solutions.
Requirements
  • Strong foundation in object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience with end-to-end development and deployment of Spring Boot & Microservices Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience in front-end development with ReactJS.
  • Proficiency in Apache Kafka messaging, event streaming, and distributed system handling.
  • Strong knowledge of API design, development, and integration with GraphQL and REST APIs.
  • Database Management skills with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL experience.
  • Cloud Platforms expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Unit Testing Frameworks proficiency with JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
