Medical Writer Role

We seek a skilled medical writer to develop high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials for clients.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing, a PhD/MD (Pharmacology) or PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication, and excellent language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop client-ready scientific, medical, and educational materials with attention to detail under the guidance of scientific leads.
  • Liaise and build relationships with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, authors/faculty, clients, and vendors.
  • Attend workshops/seminars/trainings to hone skills and contribute to organizational objectives.
  • Apply scientific and creative knowledge to work closely with client directors in developing ideas and executing effective medical communications initiatives.
  • Ensure all materials follow/comply with client requirements/SOPs, style guides, and internal SOPs.
  • Perform as a document specialist, provide intellectual input across document types, and contribute to making cutting-edge research accessible to specific audiences.
  • Share best practices and client preferences, contributing to skill development within the medical communications team.

Required Skills:

  • Clear, concise, scientific style of writing.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.
