Job Title: Data Scientist

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support real-time and batch data processing.
  • In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data systems that power analytics, insights, and data-driven decision-making.

You will work on designing robust data pipelines and ETL workflows, building and managing scalable data architectures and cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and governance. Additionally, you will collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to understand data needs, optimize performance of data systems, queries, and storage solutions, and implement data quality monitoring and alerting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows.
  • Build and manage data architectures and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and governance.
  • Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams.
  • Optimize data system performance.
  • Implement data quality monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for data workflows and schemas.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data infrastructure role.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Proficient in SQL and experienced with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Flink.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with modern data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect.
  • Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
