We are seeking a visionary Visual Director to spearhead the development of visually stunning 3D projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Artistic Vision and Style: Develop and maintain a cohesive artistic vision and style for 3D projects, ensuring consistency across all deliverables.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 3D artists, including modelers, texture artists, and animators, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure high-quality results.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with game designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals, technical limitations, and creative direction.
  • Art Pipeline and Workflow Optimization: Design, develop, and maintain efficient art pipelines and production workflows to streamline asset creation, integration, and delivery.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Review and ensure high artistic quality and consistency throughout all deliverables, maintaining a keen eye for detail and visual fidelity.
  • Concept Development and Storytelling: Create initial concepts, visual guides, and storyboards to communicate the artistic direction to the team and stakeholders, effectively conveying the desired visual style and tone.
  • Schedule Management and Adherence: Ensure timely completion of all art deliverables, adhering to project schedules and deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new software, and emerging technologies, incorporating best practices and innovative techniques into the production process to drive creativity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in fine arts, graphic design, animation, or a related field is typically required, demonstrating a solid foundation in the principles of art and design.
  • Experience and Expertise: 8+ years of experience in 3D art production, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or senior artist role, preferably within the relevant industry, showcasing expertise in industry-standard software, technical skills, and soft skills.
Desired Skills and Expertise
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush), texturing and sculpting tools (e.g., Substance Painter, Adobe Creative Suite), real-time rendering engines like Unity or Unreal Engine, and technical art fundamentals such as modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and optimization.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong team management and mentorship skills, ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external partners, creative problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a keen eye for visual quality and consistency.
