About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BMC Firmware Development Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India. As a key member of our firmware development team, you will be responsible for the Server BMC firmware development and maintenance of new products for ThinkSystem XCC.

Key Responsibilities

  • BMC platform development, including requirements definition, design, implementation, and documentation of the platform.
  • Hands-on software development in C and C++.
  • Ability to read schematics.
  • Knowledge of Software development processes, working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with multi-functional teams.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar degree or related software equivalent experience.
  • Around ₹2,500,000 per annum (estimated salary based on industry standards).
  • Proficient Problem-Solving Skills:
    • Strong analytical and debug methodology skills expected.
    • Proficient at recognizing complex problems related to functional objectives.
    • Applies creativity and judgment to developmental work on different projects within the business environment.
    • Analyzes situations and implements solutions, or develops new system elements, procedures, or processes.
    • Capable of controlling work priorities and methods requiring trade-offs.
    • Provides advice in technical/operational domain of specialization.
    • Ability to apply discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance to Lenovo.
