As a VP – Site Reliability Engineering, you will play a key role in shaping our SRE function within the organization. You will work closely with a small group of SREs in the platform engineering and operations teams as well as wider infrastructure teams for both public cloud and on-premises platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and implement the SRE strategy
  • Promote a culture of automation in operating services, reducing toil through efficient processes
  • Develop methodologies and strategies for identifying and eliminating toil-heavy processes
  • Assist in developing engineering and operational service metrics with actionable plans to improve operational efficiency and enhance service quality
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and implement Service Level Objectives for critical services
  • Design and implement monitoring strategies with Engineering and implement appropriate capabilities
  • Conduct capacity planning and reliability improvements
  • Perform chaos engineering exercises and lead architectural reviews for reliability
  • Drive continuous improvement from incidents and contribute to Test and Deployment processes

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Hands-on experience in SRE with 5+ years working experience in SRE roles
  • Practical experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives and operating under Error Budgets
  • Experience implementing and operating monitoring and observability technologies for enterprise-grade production systems
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies and gitops principles
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of critical production support processes
  • 2+ years of experience with one/more public/private cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
