Tender Executive Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tender Executive to join our team.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, including category creation, product uploads, and tendering processes.
  • They will handle electronic tendering and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs)/requests for quotations (RFQs).
  • Additionally, they will submit documents, including general, technical, and commercial tenders, on various portals, such as GeM, Central Public Procurement (CPP), Ministry of Personnel (MP), Defence, and State Governments.

Tender Preparation & Submission:

  • The Tender Executive will prepare and submit bids, bank guarantees, fixed deposit receipts (FDRs), and demand drafts (DDs) in accordance with tender requirements.
  • They will clarify bid conditions and ensure alignment with company requirements.
  • Furthermore, they will analyze tender documents, prepare comparative statements, and attend pre-bid meetings.

Vendor Registration & Coordination:

  • The candidate will liaise with government departments for vendor registrations, approvals, and renewals.
  • They will follow up with vendors for timely deliveries and quotations.

Administrative Support:

  • The Tender Executive will provide administrative support, including preparing drawings using Corel Draw/Adobe Photoshop, managing filing, calls, and other tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and communication in English and Hindi is essential.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Proven experience with e-procurement and tendering processes is essential.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills are necessary.
  • Experience liaising with government bodies is desirable.
