Job Title: Senior AWS Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud-based systems using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based systems using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SQS, AppSync, CloudWatch Logs, X-Ray, EventBridge, Amazon Pinpoint, Cognito, KMS.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CDK; experience with CodePipeline is a significant plus.
  • Implement serverless architecture and event-driven design principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security, compliance, and monitoring of cloud-based systems.
  • Design and implement cost optimization strategies using AWS services.
  • Develop scalability and resilience patterns using auto-scaling, dead-letter queues, retry/backoff, and circuit breakers.
Requirements
  • Deep expertise in AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SQS, AppSync, CloudWatch Logs, X-Ray, EventBridge, Amazon Pinpoint, Cognito, KMS.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code using AWS CDK; experience with CodePipeline is a significant plus.
  • Extensive experience in serverless architecture and event-driven design.
  • Strong understanding of cloud monitoring and observability tools including CloudWatch Logs, X-Ray, and Custom Metrics.
  • Proven ability to implement and enforce security and compliance measures.
  • Demonstrated experience in cost optimization techniques.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing scalability and resilience patterns.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline concepts.
  • Excellent documentation and workflow design skills.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Commitment to implementing AWS best practices.
