Data Science Leader - Artificial Intelligence Specialist

Overview

As a seasoned Data Science Manager, you will lead a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights. Your expertise in Artificial Intelligence will be instrumental in developing and optimizing data pipelines to ingest data effectively and assure the quality of data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and gather relevant data artifacts.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines to ingest data effectively and assure the quality of data.
  • Carry out exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and define performance metrics prior to running machine learning or deep learning algorithms.
  • Research existing solutions before building new models and create optimized data models to query relevant data efficiently.
  • Run machine learning or deep learning algorithms for business goal-seeking and optimize and validate these models to scale.
  • Document project artifacts, log failures and exceptions, and measure the impact of data science projects on business metrics.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, machine learning, or related discipline).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, including knowledge of numerical, data analysis, and AI frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.
  • Experience with large language models and familiarity with their evolution history, training data creation, and fine-tuning.
  • Ability to interpret research papers and architecture diagrams of language models.
  • Comfortable working with LORA, RAG, Instruct fine-tuning, Quantization, and predictive modeling techniques in Python.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing projects.
