Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Content Editor to join our team in Gurgaon. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for editing and proofreading content produced by our teams, including copy published in magazines, books, and custom publishing projects. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread copy for various publications and projects.
- Ensure all content follows our global style guide and is accurate, grammatically correct, and on-brand.
- Work closely with editorial managers to suggest improvements to headlines, decks, story openings, captions, cover lines, and graphic elements.
- Leverage our archives to verify content featured in books.
About You:
You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. With at least three years of professional publishing experience, including previous copy editing and/or editing experience, you possess outstanding writing, spelling, punctuation, language, and grammar skills. You are an excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving conflicts. You are eager to learn and adapt to new styles and processes.
