Senior Auditor and Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor & Accountant to join our team in Pune. This is a dual-role position that requires strong command of both statutory auditing procedures and core accounting functions.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA Inter/CMA Inter or a graduate with substantial relevant experience, capable of ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and Accounting tasks include planning, execution, and management of audits from start to finish.
  • Analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Identify, assess, and report on financial and operational risks.
  • Verify assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise audit reports with findings and recommendations for improvement.

Liaise with clients and management to discuss audit findings and resolve queries.

Manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

Handle GST filing, TDS calculations, deductions, and returns.

Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and tax laws.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A qualification like CA Inter, CMA Inter, or M.Com is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience of 4-6 years in a combined audit and accounting role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS), auditing standards, and tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally.ERP 9, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (especially advanced Excel).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

We offer a competitive salary package within the range of ₹40,000 - ₹50,000 per month.
