Job Description

As a solar design engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing solar PV systems for rooftop installations. This involves conducting site visits to take accurate measurements, ensuring compliance with electrical standards and net-metering rules.

The successful candidate will have expertise in using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and PVSyst to design solar systems. Additionally, they will size strings and inverters, prepare BOQs, layouts, and SLDs. Analyzing electricity bills to determine feasibility is also a crucial part of this role.

Another key aspect of the job is coordinating with site and execution teams for project implementation. Preparing and maintaining reports in Excel/Google Sheets is also essential.
