Job Description:

The role involves end-to-end project execution and management of integrated building management systems, mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, and central chiller plants for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution & Coordination
  • Manage the execution of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works related to heating, ventilation and air conditioning, chilled water plants, utility systems, and building management system integration.
  • Oversee the installation, testing & commissioning of central chiller plants, air handling units, cooling towers, pumps, valves, piping, and controls.
  • Integrate building management platforms with chillers, heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, electrical panels, and safety systems.
  • Ensure project milestones are met as per schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate with vendors, original equipment manufacturers, consultants, and internal teams to achieve execution targets.

Technical & Design Review:

  • Review mechanical and building management design drawings, bill of quantities, equipment specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Validate system architecture for building management, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, chiller plant manager (CPM), supervisory control and data acquisition/ distributed control system, and utility monitoring systems.
  • Ensure adherence to ASHRAE, ISHRAE, Indian Standards codes, National Building Code, and international standards.

Quality & Safety Management:

  • Implement quality assurance/quality control checks for equipment installation, piping, cabling, and control systems.
  • Enforce health, safety and environment practices during site execution in compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) for critical systems.

Operations & Handover:

  • Conduct performance testing of chiller plants and building management system dashboards.
  • Optimize plant operation through automation, control strategies, and energy efficiency.
  • Prepare operations and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, and training sessions for facility teams.
  • Support project handover to facility management teams with complete documentation.
