Cybersecurity Consultant Job Description

CBL - Crossbow Labs is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to provide expert advice and guidance on cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and compliance. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to assess their IT security posture, identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities, and develop effective solutions to mitigate these risks.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced IT professional with strong technical knowledge of networks, servers, workstations, and applications. Your proficiency in PCI DSS v3.2.1 and PCI DSS v4.0 security standards, as well as your understanding of the ISO 27001 standard, will enable you to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop comprehensive compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk management, business continuity planning (BCP), and disaster recovery (DR) reviews to identify potential threats and develop mitigation strategies.
• Perform network architecture reviews to ensure optimal configuration and security.
• Conduct system configuration reviews for operating systems (Windows & Linux), servers, databases, routers/switches, and firewalls to identify vulnerabilities and improve security.
• Develop compliance procedures and documentation for the PCI program, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Train clients and internal teams on PCI DSS and other cybersecurity standards and regulations, promoting a culture of security awareness and best practices.

Requirements:

• BCA / B.Tech / B.Sc – Computers Science / B.Sc - Information Security / M.Sc – Information Security degree.
• Familiarity with cloud-based hosting solutions such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Strong team collaboration skills and client relationship management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaborative environments to meet delivery obligations.
