Job Title: DevSecOps Consultant

A comprehensive DevSecOps role is available, requiring a seasoned professional with expertise in designing and implementing robust security practices.

This position demands a deep understanding of .Net development, Azure DevOps, and a security-first mindset to integrate security tests into CI/CD pipelines and act as a security champion for application development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement comprehensive DevSecOps tests, including SAST (Static Application Security Testing) and DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing).
  2. Support DevOps operations by seamlessly integrating developed SAST and DAST tests into CI/CD pipeline builds within Azure DevOps.
  3. Create and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring continuous integration and continuous deployment with a strong security focus.
  4. Leverage core DevSecOps principles to design and implement end-to-end security solutions.
  5. Conduct DevSecOps maturity assessments to identify gaps and recommend improvements in existing processes.
  6. Act as a dedicated security champion for application development teams, providing guidance and fostering secure coding practices.
  7. Maintain and support applications developed with ASP.NET Web Forms, Windows services, C#, and SQL Server 2008.
  8. Apply very strong fundamentals in .Net Framework 4.x and above, along with a strong understanding and application of C# and .Net enterprise patterns, including the usage of Microsoft Enterprise Library.
  9. Work with WebAPI, WCF, and Microsoft reporting tools (RDL) SSRS.
  10. Ensure good understanding of IIS configuration for application deployments.
  11. Possess good debugging and troubleshooting skills for both frontend and backend issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms, Windows services, C#, and SQL Server 2008.
  2. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline, and working with DevOps-based deployments.
  3. Very strong fundamentals in .Net Framework 4.x and above.
  4. Strong understanding and application in C# and .Net enterprise patterns and usage of Microsoft Enterprise Library.
  5. Experience on WebAPI, WCF, and Microsoft reporting tool (RDL) SSRS.
  6. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS3.
  7. Good understanding of IIS configuration.
  8. Good expertise in SQL design (normalization, index design, data modeling) and programming (stored procedures, functions), with development experience.
  9. Good debugging/troubleshooting skills on both frontend and backend.
  10. Experience of writing and optimizing queries that access/process millions of records.
  11. Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  12. Proven experience in designing and implementing DevSecOps tests: SAST, DAST.
  13. Experience supporting DevOps operations by integrating developed SAST and DAST tests into CI/CD pipeline builds.
  14. Ability to create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  15. Strong focus on Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment with a Security mindset.
  16. Experience leveraging DevSecOps principles to design and implement Security solutions.
  17. Ability to perform DevSecOps maturity assessments.
  18. Experience working as a security champion for application development teams.
