Job Opportunity: AI Engineering Leadership

We are expanding our team with a senior leader in AI engineering, responsible for shaping architecture and delivering innovative solutions. This role combines stability with upside potential, offering a foundational leadership position with equity participation.

The successful candidate will define system architecture, integrate open-source AI testing libraries, and deliver lightweight solutions in cloud environments. They will also build and test models against fairness, robustness, explainability, and governance principles, creating reproducible pipelines and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture & Build: Define and lead system architecture, integrate open-source AI testing libraries, and deliver lightweight solutions in cloud environments.
  • AI Model Testing: Build and test models against fairness, robustness, explainability, and governance principles, creating reproducible pipelines and dashboards.
  • Collaboration & Growth: Partner with global Responsible AI leaders, translate governance requirements into engineering-led solutions, and contribute to pilots and client delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record building, training, and evaluating AI/ML models (industry, research, or advanced academic projects).
  • Experience developing or integrating AI testing and assurance tools strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML/AI libraries.
  • Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and knowledge of scaling, training, and deployment of AI models.
  • Awareness of Responsible AI frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
  • Hands-on familiarity with explainability and fairness tools (e.g. SHAP, LIME, AIF360, ART).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to operate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Intellectual curiosity, self-drive, and the ambition to grow into a senior technical leadership role.
