Full Stack Web Developer Job Description

This is a challenging role that requires an experienced Full Stack Web Developer to develop web module feature implementation for Financial Technology applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and coding guidelines, with experience in server-side development using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. They will work on both the front-end and back-end of web applications and computer systems, creating visually appealing user interfaces and interactions, and designing front-end website architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create robust software development activities and implement new features for Web Applications
  • Design and manage database in MSSQL, optimizing queries, Store Procedures, and ensuring data integrity
  • Develop and optimize relational database for storage, retrieval, management, and high performance
  • Build and integrate APIs to make smooth communication between various services and Third-party systems
  • Integrate and support payment gateway systems, ensure secure transactions, and compliance with payment industry standards
  • Work on Dev server, QA/QC server, Staging server, and Production server for code development
  • Establish local development environment setup to perform unit tests and troubleshoot
  • Use code coverage and code quality tools to ensure high-quality code output

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience working as a Web Application Full Stack Developer on Agile projects
  • Core development experience in PHP server-side programming for building web applications
  • Implement server-side functionalities using Core PHP and Web API's to support web services
  • Experience in Frontend and Backend design, development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, MS-SQL, MySQL, Bootstrap framework
  • Good knowledge about Microsoft Technologies like Visual Studio and IDE like VS Code for code development
  • Usage of Unit Testing using tools like NUnit, xUnit, and MS-Test
  • Deployment experience related to CI/CD, DevOps tools like Jenkins, Maven
  • Experience in using configuration management system using tools like Git, Github, Gitlab
  • Knowledge of fintech, banking, financial services applications will be an added advantage
