Product Change Coordinator

As a Product Change Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that changes to product designs, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and associated documentation are properly assessed, approved, and executed. You will be the conduit between various teams responsible for engineering change management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates ECO for product release of sales and production BOMs, identifying key milestones and implementation timelines.
  • Evaluate proposed changes for technical feasibility, impact on design, manufacturing, cost, and schedule, providing insightful recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, facilitate communication, and drive project progress.
  • Analyze and coordinate new BOM structure, set up System Data, and maintain Document Integrity, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
  • Work with manufacturing to ensure seamless implementation of approved changes, updating BOMs and associated documentation, minimizing disruptions and delays.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field, with advanced degree or relevant certifications being desirable. Previous experience in roles involving engineering change management is essential, as well as a good understanding of product manufacturing processes and BOM structures.

Skills and Qualifications

A strong proficiency in using relevant software tools, including PLM and ERP systems, Agile, SAP ECC, and experience working with cross-functional teams are required. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, an analytical mindset, and problem-solving capabilities are also necessary.
