About the Role

Our mission is to safeguard the digital landscape. As a Senior Professional Services Consultant/Engineer, you will shape the future of cybersecurity.

This highly technical role involves designing and delivering cutting-edge solutions for clients. It requires strong project management skills, along with the ability to manage and deploy complex projects.

  • Create customized security policies and application signatures tailored to unique client environments.
  • Counsel and guide clients on best practices in security methodologies and act as their trusted advisor on behalf of Palo Alto Networks.
  • Analyze logs and events from the solution and provide threat analysis reports, offering insights and direction as needed.
  • Work closely with our Technical Assistance Center to troubleshoot and diagnose cases that arise.
  • Maintain implemented solutions and provide mentorship on code upgrades, platform changes, and new technology developments.
  • Collaborate with sales account teams to formulate technical strategies addressing customer business needs.
  • Support direct managers in managing business needs through regular reports and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Engage with account teams to ensure clear understanding of customer business and technical requirements as learned through active engagement with the client.
Responsibilities:
  • Travel (25-50%) is required for customer meetings and onsite deployments of customer engagements.
  • Conduct research on new features and technologies to optimize value delivery to customers.
  • Meet with customer teams to design and thoroughly document complete projects.
  • Provide knowledge transfer of next-generation technologies to customers and other Palo Alto Networks Technical Teams for long-term engagements.
  • E nsure successful completion of large-scale customer projects.
