We are seeking an experienced software professional to fill a key role in our organization.


About the Role
  • This is a challenging position for a Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing and implementing high-quality software applications.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with team leaders and other stakeholders to ensure that software applications meet the required standards of quality, maintainability, scalability and performance.
  • Candidates should have a strong background in software development and be able to work independently with minimal technical guidance.
  • They should also be able to mentor junior developers in the team and contribute towards good software design.
  • Additionally, they will participate in daily stand-up meetings, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and articulate issues and risks to management in a timely manner.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing software applications using Java 8 and above, with knowledge of additional languages like Kotlin and Scala.
  • Hands-on experience in opensource Java frameworks like Spring Batch, Spring Boot, JPA and Hibernate.
  • Experience in messaging technologies like JMS, IBM MQ, Solace and Kafka.
  • Familiarity with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL and Postgres.
  • Developing REST/JSON Web Services and sound knowledge of Build tools like Maven and Gradle.
  • Familiarity with web and application servers like Tomcat and weblogic.
  • Sound knowledge of revision control system like Git and Unit testing frameworks like Junit and Mockito.
  • Experience in developing Unix shell scripts and functional programming languages like Scala and Kotlin.
