Accounting Operations Director Role

As the Accounting Operations Director at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for managing the overall operation of our Asia Pacific region, which includes the functions of General Ledger, Closing & Reporting, Bank and Cash, and Accounts Receivables. You will oversee the service of Siemens Energy entities in Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, as well as China in the near future, with operational accounting excellence in the above-mentioned four functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operation of the region, including General Ledger, Closing & Reporting, Bank and Cash, and Accounts Receivables.
  • Oversee the service of Siemens Energy entities in Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, as well as China in the near future.
  • Drive finance transformation through organisational change and lead teams through organisational change processes.
  • Partner with counterparts in Europe and Americas to drive global harmonization and standardization.
  • Represent Accounting Services with key collaborators in the regions and develop an upbeat team that is eager to deliver operationally and continuously accept change at a local and global scale.

Requirements

  • Strong business and accounting competence.
  • Proven ability with validated experience of 10 years in leadership of an operational accounting center.
  • Bold approach and eager to drive finance transformation through organisational change.
  • People-oriented and committed to drive personal growth of the team, with a track record of handling and leading talents.
  • Flexibility to discuss detailed process steps and high-level pivotal initiatives with the same accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience of working in a truly multicultural working environment.
  • Finance leadership experience, with shown success in leading teams through organisational change processes.
