Job Overview

As a Power Electronic Expert, you will lead the development of on-board chargers from concept to industrialization. You will be responsible for the complete product lifecycle, including specification, design, and validation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of on-board charger units based on vehicle specifications.
  • Manage on-board charger unit development projects from concept to industrialization.
  • Develop cost-effective proposals and solutions for charging platforms, ensuring compliance with process checklists for both hardware and software.
  • Provide design and quality guidelines for prototypes and industrialization, reviewing schematics, layouts, and process-related milestones for quality assurance.

You will define functional safety goals and implement them according to ISO or ASIL standards. Ensure designs meet product requirements and are completed timely. Minimize component variations in designs and reduce risks through effective Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). Projects will be delivered as per Quality, Cost, and Time parameters. Lead the definition of on-board charger roadmaps, strategies, and processes to ensure designs and investments meet domestic and global market automotive requirements.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • In-depth knowledge of automotive EV chargers, including hardware and software.
  • Solid electrical engineering skills, with expertise in automotive charger topologies and design.
  • Strong understanding of functional safety implementation and battery charging strategies.
