Azure PostgreSQL Developer Position

The role of Azure PostgreSQL Developer is crucial in ensuring the robust management and optimization of our global infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in managing database-driven applications and pipeline development using Azure PostgreSQL and SQL Server Database.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control functionality for business rules (logic) in databases, guaranteeing seamless data integration.
  • Design, build, develop, and manage pipelines using database technologies to streamline data processing and analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with the Application and Databricks teams to develop robust data solutions that support our security initiatives.
  • Implement monitoring and logging processes using Azure database capabilities to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
  • Document procedures and workflows associated with data pipelines, contributing to best practices.
  • Share knowledge about the latest Azure Database trends and techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent command of English language.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing database-driven application and pipeline development using Azure PostgreSQL and SQL Server Database.
  • Strong understanding of security principles in the context of data protection.
  • Ability to write, debug, and optimize data transformations and datasets.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions using Azure Database or similar technologies.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD sets for database object release management.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) development process.
